This hotel in a hidden gem of a village blew me away. the value for money was outstanding. I couldn't believe the prices, especially for such a remarkable location. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was impressive, from the basic amenities to the rooms with a nice balcony providing breathtaking views. And speaking of breakfast, it was simply incredible. Imagine enjoying a delicious meal while taking in the amazing panorama. Just like the reviews mentioned, the views from the bedrooms were truly panoramic!
All was perfect, couldn't ask for more.

Castelmezzano is a beautiful mountain village and Hotel La Locanda di Castromediano is in very good position. Our room has a balcony with a nice view over the valley. The hotel personal were very friendly and food, we ate at the hotel, was good.
It was a little bit difficult to find the hotel entrance, because there was no hotel sign there. The brekfast was typical italian with many sweet things, we missed cheese and ham.

Comfortable, cozy room in a small, chalet style hotel with a very friendly and pleasant staff. Located in a beautiful, traditional, mountain village, with extraordinary views. Great for hiking. And best of all is the gourmet chef/owner, Antoinetta, who turned out the best meals we had in Italy, and at a reasonable price. Her husband, the sommelier, has a great wine list. The combination of cozy, moderately priced accommodations, wonderful scenery, memorable meals, can't be beat.

Very good hotel and food of the restaurant. 10 easy minutes drive of mountain road from Basentana motorway. Unique view & place, clean air and possibility to listen the 'noise of the silence'. Worth for a deviation to see something different.

The service that Salvatore and Michelangel was wonderful. They helped us with directions and the translation of Italian. They were very accommodating. The food that Maria Antonette prepared expecially for us was excellent. The views are fantastic.
The hotel is hard to find, the sign is very small. Parking is a walk away, but the locals know where it is.

We recently stayed at a lovely hotel located at the entrance of a charming hilltop town in southern Italy. the location was just down the hill and we were able to easily access the central square and shops. the view from our room was spectacular, offering panoramic views of the towering rock formations that provide protection for the town. the room itself was comfortable and elegantly furnished with real wood furniture. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast and dinner at the hotel's Michelin-starred restaurant.
The bed was a bit uncomfortable and could have been a bit softer for our liking.

The room was spacious and had a balcony with a stunning view of the surrounding valleys and mountains. the hotel's restaurant served delicious meals, made with local ingredients. the location of the hotel was perfect, close to both the central square and the shops.
The wifi in the bedrooms on the first floor did not work, but it was accessible in the reception area, which was not heated. the fire exit door leading to the restaurant was not well-marked and could easily be missed.
